Christian Bautista’s concert tour in London and Barcelona is a huge success

Christian Bautista entertained thousands of fans who came to see him during his concert tour at Morden Park, London and Estacio del Nord, Barcelona last month. Kapamilyas abroad enjoyed hearing him sing all-time favorite love songs that reminded them of their loved ones back home. Comedians Pooh and Pretty Trizcia were also on hand to keep audiences laughing.

It was truly an extraordinary trip for Christian because he was able to celebrate the country’s freedom together with the OFWs. “I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to spend Independence Day with my fellow countrymen in Europe. It was my second time in London for a show and I was happy to see familiar faces. It was, however, my first time in Barcelona. We celebrated Independence Day there. And I’ll never forget how we sang the chorus of ‘Ako Ay Pilipino.’ It was such an inspiring moment,” he related.

Unlike most of his stints abroad, Christian made it a point to see the sights by visiting famous tourist spots like Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and Piccadilly. He even found time to watch Avenue Q at West End where his former stage partner Joanna Ampil performed Christmas Eve, The Phantom of The Opera, and Jersey Boys. He also attended a dinner party hosted by the Philippine community with ambassadors and consuls in a Japanese restaurant partly owned by London-based Filipina actress Monique Wilson. Then the rest of his time in Barcelona, he spent visiting national museums as well as the famous church, Sagrada Familia.
